I am so grateful that Danielle was there with us in the delivery room when my daughter was born. I had a c-section and my husband needed to tend to the baby once she was delivered, and Danielle was right by my side the whole time. I remember seeing her smiling face afterwards and telling me that everything went great. Having her there offered me so much comfort and reassurance.

When we got home, I had so many questions - about the baby and about my healing process. It was overwhelming. Danielle would come and help to put my mind at ease, and help us to care for this new little being that had joined our family. She was so positive and so encouraging, and our family began to quickly rely on her. We wrote down questions to ask her for the next time that she came, or we would text her. She often would message us to see how we were doing and to see how different things we were trying were working out. Along with the physical support, she provided me with so much emotional support as well. It was a relief to have someone who understood everything and provided that extra support that we needed.

Danielle is still a big part of our lives today! Her warmth, compassion, patience and positivity has been such an asset to our family.

When my wife and I were faced with the daunting task of bringing our newborn home, we soon found ourselves sleep deprived and overwhelmed.

With Danielle's warm and knowledgeable demeanour, we were instantly given a chance to breath and trust that our precious baby was in the best hands. As a mother herself, Danielle offers tried and true methods on raising a healthy baby including feeding and sleep schedules, bathing, and laundry.

From a male point of view, I was really impressed how Danielle spoke to me and my wife as equals and which allowed us to take in her expertise. She was an absolute pleasure (and saviour) to welcome into our home. I would 100% highly recommend Danielle's services as a postpartum Doula.

My daughter is about to turn 3 months and as I sit here reflecting on the “4th Trimester” and what got me through it I can’t help but take a moment to thank Danielle!

As a first time mom I had no clue what I was doing, and while I was intrigued by the idea of a postpartum doula I also had no clue what that would entail. Bringing Danielle on was the best decision! She taught me so many tips and tricks when it came to breastfeeding, bathing, sleeping and general care for my daughter, but most importantly she was there to support me - whatever I needed. In a time where all my energy and focus was being put into my child, I was still recovering from a pretty huge impact on my body and having Danielle in my corner was the best decision I could have made.  

For any new or soon to be mamas out there I would strongly consider the postpartum doula route and even more so recommend Danielle!

Danielle worked with our family when our second son was born. She is invaluable, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about who she is and the service she provides. Danielle would check in during my pregnancy, and was available to chat whenever I had questions.

She began with our family (in person) shortly after our little one’s arrival. Danielle was thoughtful, compassionate, and genuinely caring towards myself and my family. I have high standards, and have not had a lot of success with mother’s helpers or nannies (with my older son). Not only did she take incredible care of my newborn, and kept my toddler busy on occasions, she listened to every detail of care that I provided AND she was able to anticipate so many of my needs. She was generally one step ahead of caring for ME - and that is something that not a lot of postpartum moms get to have.

I highly recommend Danielle for anyone looking for a postpartum doula.

As we prepared for baby #2 I reached out to Danielle to see what some extra support could look like to wrangle my toddler while beginning a new baby into our life. Danielle not only had great ideas as to how to integrate the baby and make our toddler feel extra special, but came over before the baby was due to meet our toddler and establish a friendship so she didn't feel that Dabilee was here "just for baby".

Once the baby came, Danielle was our extra set of hands that cared for the baby so we could give our new "big sister" toddler some extra attention. She helped me delegate tasks that took up so much of my time and she did them effortlessly and my life became that much lighter, all while chatting with our toddler and including her in tasks so she felt like a big helper.

During this time we also had a health scare with our toddler that ended us in SIck Kids for a weekend and then required ongoing night support, and Danielle stepped in and between her and her network took this weight off our shoulders and had support in place immediately. It was above and beyond, and one less thing for our family to think about, allowing us to concentrate on our toddler - who is doing great now :).

I have laughed and cried with Danielle, she is a part of our family, and I trust her implicitly with the most important things in my life - our babies. I had wanted her to move in with us forever but understood she has a family of her own and they would most certainly miss her ;). She will forever have a piece of my heart and be part of our lives.

Danielle is simply amazing! Danielle provided postpartum doula services for our family after our second son was born. Danielle took care of so many of the things I couldn’t do while recovering from a c-section, while also caring for my newborn son so I could get some much needed sleep. I always felt comfortable leaving him with Danielle and he was very comfortable with her from the start! Danielle was also an amazing source of emotional support during my recovery and transition to mom of two.

As with many first time parents we didn’t know what we didn’t know. We had the stroller, the crib, the cute newborn outfits, but soon after our daughter was born we realized we were missing a critical component - postpartum care and support.

Danielle came in, quickly assessed what support our family could use and then just as quickly demonstrated the value of postpartum care by a doula.

Danielle was the first non-family member we trusted to care for our newborn, and the support and guidance she provided us in the early days of new parenthood was invaluable. Her mix of education, experience and empathy was exactly what our family needed - she is simply amazing!

Around 6 months into my pregnancy, we hired Danielle as our postpartum doula. As new parents, we had no idea what lay ahead of us during our postpartum journey and 4th trimester and were not sure what level of support we would need. Danielle was supportive and flexible beginning with our first conversation, until her last day with us.

She truly put the needs of our family and myself (as a new mom) first. By the end of our time with Danielle, she was no longer our doula but a friend. Words cannot even begin to express our gratitude for Danielle!

To begin, Danielle is a wealth of baby knowledge. I consulted her on every topic from lactation, sleep, teething and baby care! In every conversation, she shared her expertise but most importantly was an incredible & encouraging support system. I trusted her completely to care for and watch my son, Jack, while I carved out some "me" time to catch up on sleep or leave the house - which was crucial during the 4th trimester. She also helped with small tasks around the house such as laundry, bottle washing, etc. which allowed me to focus my time on bonding with our new baby. Most importantly, she was always flexible on scheduling and timing - knowing that priorities and needs can shift quickly with a new baby!

Danielle's compassion and kindness during a difficult transition and time in my life will not be forgotten. We are so grateful and appreciative of everything she did for our family! We miss her and cannot wait to have her back for future pregnancies and babies. Thank you, Danielle!

Danielle is a treasure. The first few days, weeks, and months home with a newborn are so precious, but so vulnerable. Everything is new, everyone is exhausted, hormones are haywire. It takes a village, but you also need quiet, bonding time with your new little unit.

Danielle helps in the background, like an extension of the immediate family. She let me sleep and regain my energy and strength, and was loved by the whole family. She quietly does what needs to get done to keep the house running, while providing loving support for mama and baby. I will forever be so thankful to her.

Danielle is like having a knowledgeable friend come and help you after you’ve had a baby. There’s no judgment, she’s just there to help and support you in anyway she can. I had talked to a couple of other doula’s before Danielle but when I talked to Danielle we just clicked right away, it was like talking to a friend. Danielle was a great person to have as support after I had my baby. I really appreciated that Danielle shared her knowledge and experience with me and my husband but she never pushed anything on us. My husband and I were comfortable with Danielle right away which is super important since she’s helping you during a really intimate time. All of mine and my husband’s family who meet Danielle really liked her. She was able to teach them a few things as well, which was really helpful for me since I could just focus on my newborn baby and not feel like I had to be teaching or telling my family what to do, it was nice to have a buffer.

If you’re thinking about hiring Danielle I would highly recommend it, it’s a great investment especially if it’s your first baby. I just really feel like she helped me start off on the right foot of parenthood and also took some pressure off of me in the first few weeks of motherhood and that allowed me to enjoy it that much more. My husband and I can’t say enough good things about Danielle, we’re really happy we hired her and had such a lovely time with her while she helped us in the first few months.

Danielle was a fantastic resource, and as first-time parents I don't know how we would have managed without her. She is incredibly knowledgeable and balances this with a great sense of practicality to help parents focus on what really matters. From mastering diaper changes, designing sleep schedules, and endless tricks to ease upset little ones, she comes armed with a wealth of knowledge. But where she really goes above and beyond is in looking out for and caring for the whole family - especially the birth parent - during the challenging early days and weeks after delivery. Breakfast in bed? Tips for mastering the tangly, unfamiliar breast pump? Help easing back into activity after a c-section? Danielle will take care of it all. She makes herself very generously available over text for questions as well which is so important in the early days, when everything is so new and questions come up endlessly.

Finally, I have to add one wonderful bonus of working with Danille was she is great with dogs. It may seem trivial, but adding a baby into a family with a high energy dog is daunting. Not only did she provide tips and tricks for the initial meet and greet, but she regularly brought treats and surprises for our pup to make her feel included in our growing family.

As one of my non-parent friends said when we told her about all Danielle is done for us: "based on your experience, I refuse to have kids unless Danielle is available to work with us!"

Danielle is the absolute best. There is no shortage of positive things to share about our time with her. Quite simply, we wouldn’t have survived the first few months (and beyond) with our daughter without Danielle’s guidance, empathy, care, kindness and sense of humour, in addition to her wealth of knowledge about babies, postpartum, and early parenting.

We cherished our “Danielle Days” for the relief of having a helping hand and the comfort of having a sounding board for our million questions and new challenges. She is a woman of many talents - part baby whisperer, sleep expert, therapist, lactation consultant, comedian and favourite friend. I learned so much from her during our time together and it was immeasurably helpful to have her just a call or text away during those chaotic and uncertain first few weeks. Our daughter was so comfortable with her and would squeal with delight at her arrival. Her generosity of spirit was a gift during a challenging time, and I can’t imagine that period without her.

We would hire her again in a heartbeat, have recommended her to closest family and friends and know she will be part of our lives for many years to come.

Danielle is simply the best. She is immensely kind and warm and provided so much support to me, my husband, our baby and our dog. Pre-baby, Danielle helped us to organize our nursery and was always checking in on hot we were doing.

Once our son arrived, Danielle helped us to become confident and empowered parents. She is very knowledgable and a great sounding board for all my questions related to baby care, sleep, nursing, bathing and everything in between.

Danielle is an incredible multitasker and accomplished so much around our house (all while providing excellent care of our baby) so I was able to have “me” time or catch up on much needed sleep. In the early days, small tasks like washing bottles and doing laundry were completely overwhelming and Danielle took those on so I could focus on bonding with our baby and my own recovery. She truly looked after our whole family, including our dog who was totally in love with Danielle.

We miss Danielle every day, and cannot wait to work with her again!

The saying is common that it takes a village to raise a baby - and yet with the increasing isolation of modern-day communication via technology, many Mom’s feel alone in those first days after giving birth and months afterward. This was a big concern for me as a first-time Mum, especially having lost my Mom in 2019 and with my partner having a job which required him to be on-site.

Having Danielle as a part of my Village made my anxieties obsolete. She is there not only as an advisor, confidant, and carer for your newborn, but also as a surrogate parent to your family’s primary caregiver. She made me feel loved, secure and supported through acts of service, gifts of kindness, words of consolation and love for our baby. The overall well-being of our little family was dramatically improved by her presence in our lives and I am still feeling the effects of embarking on this journey with her by my side.

We are not a family of excess by any means and so were hesitant about investing in a Doula, but I can say, in no uncertain terms, it was the greatest choice we could have made for our baby, for me and for our family.

As first-time parents, we are so grateful for all of the support that Danielle provided us with after the birth of our baby. Her knowledge and experience as a doula, lactation consultant and mother herself were invaluable as we adjusted to our new life at home.

Danielle’s warmth, kindness and compassion made her seamlessly fit into our family unit and made it so easy for us to trust her with our baby. She was always available to answer any questions that we had and provide us with resources.
